 Today was another good day for Brian. He got to walk down to the therapy gym today and try some workouts! His shoulders are very tight and he has lost quite a bit of range of motion in both shoulders. This will be worked on and stretched out in therapy/rehab and I can also help with this throughout the day as well. 

Brian was in a great mood today, even though he did not sleep very well last night. He was awake when I got to the hospital and when I walked in he said “hey honey, I love you, I’m so glad you are here.” Then, when Lincoln and I got back this afternoon, Brian was so excited to see us. When we walked in his room he said “oh man, I’m so happy you are here. And Lincoln. I was worried about you guys.” Then he stood up to give me a hug and walked over to give Lincoln one too.

Tonight, Brian and I went for a walk around the halls and he did so well. His balance has already improved so much in the past few days (every day is a huge improvement from the last). He is also building up his stamina walking. I am going to keep walking around with him now that I’m more confident in assisting him so he can keep increasing that stamina.
