This is a new fidget toy that Brian's nephew brought for Brian today! He really liked it and it provides new stimulation. He has also been using his left hand more and more as the days have progressed and as his arm heals.

Today was a tough day for Brian. He had some neurostorming again today. As always, I can't remember if I put this in a previous update or not, but just in case, I'll put it here too. Neurostorming is a phenomenon that happens with traumatic brain injuries which happens while the brain is healing. The brain is so important to the body and when it heals it will often cause other things to go a bit out of whack. Typical symptoms include rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, excessive sweating, fevers, muscles spasms, and general agitation. Brian has had symptoms of neurostorming pretty frequently previously, but it did seem to have calmed down in the last few days. So unfortunately today was one of our steps back. Hopefully though this will mean that tomorrow will be a far better day.

Here is to hoping for a better day tomorrow!
