Happy Fun Friday!

Brian had such a great day today. He had his big three therapies today as he does every day. We learned today that his speech therapist is moving to UCHealth Anschutz which is definitely a bummer because Brian worked really well with her. I am sure he will also work well with the therapist who takes over for her though too. Then right after speech he had an appointment with his neuropsychologist.

Then he had his PT appointment where we went down to their workout room so Brian could try out and get cleared for using that gym and some of the equipment in there when he has down time during his day if he would like to. 

He had two OT appointments this afternoon. In the first one we played a poker style game together with his therapist. After that appointment he had his scheduled time with his usual OT. In that appointment he shaved his neck using a razor. He was very happy about that. He has wanted to do that since the LTAC and we were finally able to do it so that was really great for him.  

Yesterday his PT and OT both asked for a few pictures of areas of our house. PT wanted to see our stairs in the house and by the entrances. OT wanted to see pictures of our bathrooms. This will help them to understand what equipment we might need for the house after we discharge and they can work on ordering anything we will need at home. We looked over those photos in both appointments today.
