Happy International Women's Day to all the beautiful women out there!
Brian had a nice calm weekend. It was just the two of us all weekend without much going on. We ate together just chatted quite a bit. I think moving forward, I'll do weekend updates as 1 post instead of daily since there isn't much going on around the hospital on the weekend.
Brian has a lot to work towards this weekend. We had gotten an on campus pass the first week we were at Craig, but that was revoked last week. We will work with the behavior team to try and earn that back this week. We will also work with the behavior team to determine their opinion on visitors.
I know everyone really wants to see Brian, but it was very good for him to take a weekend without visitors. It is something often overlooked when visiting is how exhausting it is for the patient. Brian is relatively extroverted, but he also really enjoyed his slow weekends at home doing nothing pre accident. I really think this weekend was relaxing for him. I look forward to seeing how this week goes after this very low stimulation weekend.
