Weekend 22Mar-23Mar

We had such a good weekend. Lincoln and I were both at the hospital for most of the weekend. We had some errands to run Saturday morning but we spent all afternoon and evening there until Brian wanted us to go to bed. We just kinda relaxed Saturday. We walked lots of laps around the floor and watched a little basketball in his room. Brian also was due for a shower so before his shower he asked me to help him shave his face, neck, and head. He was so excited for it to all be gone. We still can't use a razor yet until he gets clearance from the doctor due to him being on blood thinners (I think he still is) from that clot he had in his calf. We only had a beard trimmer in the room, but I took the guard off for his neck and facial hair. I put the guard back on but kept it short for his hair. 

Sunday we got to the hospital a lot earlier and Brian was still asleep at 9:45!! He did get up when we got there and it was kinda the same as yesterday. We did go to the therapy gym for awhile. Lincoln played basketball for a bit while I helped Brian stretch out his legs and hips. When we were done, Brian and Lincoln both played some basketball together. After basketball they played some catch with lacrosse sticks and a tennis ball. Then we did some more laps around the floor and watched some more basketball. We went outside for a little bit this afternoon too since it was pretty warm and the wind wasn't too bad. 

Just a relaxing weekend to prep for another busy week next week.
