Happy Fun Friday!
Brian had such a good day today! He was waiting for me to get to the hospital this morning sitting in the doorway so he could see me coming.
His first class today was a combo session with PT and speech! He did some standing on different and more difficult grounds while doing different activities with his speech therapist. He did some describing of photos and then he also played a few card games with her.
Following PT he had OT. With OT all three of us went out to lunch! We walked down to a restaurant and coffee shop and got some lunch.
Then Brian had a session with T. Rec where he did another outing! He walked to Dairy Queen and got some ice cream. These outings today were all to get him ready for home since when we go home we will no longer be in a controlled hospital environment surrounded by people who fully understand brain injuries. We are also really hoping to have Brian able to go to Lincoln's lacrosse game next weekend.
