Not a lot to update on today, but we had a great weekend this weekend. We played about 45 rounds of Black Widow and Brian taught the game to several people, both visitors and staff, this weekend. I helped Brian with some stretching while Lincoln shot baskets in the gym. Lincoln made 584 baskets throughout the day today! Can you even believe that? That is insane! We also probably walked about 30 laps on his floor. Brian also had a lot of visitors that he enjoyed talking to and spending some time with. And to anyone wondering, Lincoln won his lacrosse game this weekend!
I have a story that is not related to Brian, but it really shows how special Craig hospital is. One of the other patients told some staff members that she wanted to dye her hair bubblegum pink and so today a few staff members brought in dye to help her with it. First they had to bleach her hair and then add the pink. Her tech also bleached and dyed his hair bubblegum pink with her!!! That is something that he definitely didn't have to do, but it made today so special for her and is most definitely going to make a permanent impact in her life and her family members as well! I wasn't even involved and it made an impact to me! He is clearly someone who really loves his job.
