Oops. Super late update tonight. I was reading and lost track of time!
Today was a good day for our family. Today was Lincoln's last day of third grade. This was a tough year for Lincoln (😅 duh) and he really worked so hard during the year. He pushed himself hard at school and really showed how strong he is emotionally. I can't quite believe his resilience. He wanted to work so hard and wanted to make Brian and me proud, and also said he wanted to be the best he could in order to help make my life easier too. Truly, how did I get so lucky with him? I don't even really have the right words to articulate how proud I am of him. He is such a role model for other kids at school, but also for me.
This evening we had a graduation for our nephew who graduated from 5th grade. This was really nice to go to this event and spend some time with Brian's family. We did try and go to Brian's favorite sandwich shop today, but they were closed! 🙁 He was so disappointed. Instead we ate some leftovers at home.
We are all looking forward to Fun Friday tomorrow!
