We had a great day today! We started the day today walking Lincoln to school. Then when we got home Brian wanted to try mowing the lawn. I didn't think he would be able to due to his arm sling and because he isn't allowed to move that shoulder at all. He was very confident that he could do it with just his left arm. So he tried today and did it with no issues at all, other than he needed me to help with the pull start! He really proved me wrong. 😜 He was able to get the whole lawn mown while I worked.
After he was done mowing the lawn, he relaxed a bit. Then for lunch today he made some ground pork tacos and holy smokes they were delicious! I'm very much looking forward to eating the leftovers! Then after lunch Brian had a speech therapy session. We have started to do these virtually and it's been so nice to not have to lose the time spent driving! Especially since we are only doing speech at Craig, it's a pain to drive down there just for an hour appointment (we would obviously do it if virtual therapy wasn't an option, but we are very thankful that it is).
We are going to Craig tomorrow for the initial meeting with Brian's nurse practitioner and then following up that appointment with both PT and OT appointments.
