Happy Friday!
We started out the day today with Fun Friday breakfast at Gabe's! Gabe's was absolutely packed today! We got the last table this morning and we were there at our normal time. Frederick has a festival this weekend called Frederick in Flight which is a big hot air balloon festival so there were a lot of people getting breakfast after watching the hot air balloons take off.

Then after breakfast we took Lincoln to camp and went back home so I could get some work done. I only worked a half day today because I also had an appointment for maintenance on my car. My car has been struggling with the AC lately and I've never replaced the cabin filter so it was time!
After my car appointment we picked Lincoln up from camp and we decided to let Lincoln skip track practice today. He had a meet on Wednesday and has another meet this weekend (so maybe it wasn't the best to skip, but he has/will do track 5/7 days of this week) and it's so hot today! This weekend is the summer track & field state meet and Lincoln is going to run the 400 m and do the shot put. We are looking forward to it, other than we will likely be waiting around a significant portion of the day tomorrow for Lincoln to run for about a minute. We will of course report back with the results after his meet is over!
