I am so sorry, I completely forgot about doing the update for yesterday! Oops! So I'll post an update for yesterday and today. Yesterday Brian started staining the fence! He got the gate section done for both the inside and the outside before it started raining yesterday. It looks so good and I can't wait to see it all completely finished. Then last night we had book club again. Brian and Lincoln came with me again and we had a great time. Brian is still working through reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. His eyesight has been blurry since he discharged from the hospital so he just listened to the audiobook last night. His vision has really been bothering him lately so he does have an appointment scheduled with an eye doctor.
Today was rainy all day today so Brian couldn't work on the fence any more today, which was a bummer. Instead Brian played some video games this morning and then folded some laundry. Then this afternoon he had OT. Today they did some stretching on his shoulders and then played some games. He did some catch, some juggling (ish), some walking while bouncing a ball, and then ended the session with passing some balls back and forth while counting backwards. This task is something that tests his brain a lot because he has to focus on a lot of different things at once. This was something they worked on a lot with him on while he was still inpatient and it's significantly improved in the time since he's been discharged. This was the first time I had seen him try it again and it was really cool to see.
Tonight Lincoln had track practice again and he did so good. It wasn't the best practice for Brian and I because it was raining. Lincoln tried out long jump, high jump, and some sprints tonight. Lincoln said he really enjoyed high jump.
