Holy cow we had a busy day today!
We started out the day today with some PT. He worked on balance while playing games like catch and tennis. After PT we went to Craig for Brian's final speech session. He was discharged from that today. We did also spend a bit of time chatting with the people on the third floor that Brian became friends with while he was inpatient. Brian always has a great time talking with the staff up there. One great thing with Craig is that they are always available for Brian to restart any therapies if he is interested in that or needs that later on during his healing.
After speech we met up with Brian's brother and family at the golf course for Brian to practice his golf swing. Since Megan is his OT, she wanted to take Brian to the driving range to make sure that his swing was okay for his shoulder and that his balance was also strong enough for taking a full swing. He did great and Megan said she didn't have any concerns with his swing or balance so he is now cleared for full golf swings! This means that if we have free evenings/weekends we can go to the driving range now if Brian wants to.
