We had such a busy weekend and it was so nice. We got a lot done.
Lincoln decided pretty out of the blue that he wanted to try out track and field this summer, so we signed him up for a league. His season starts tomorrow, but his coach set up a quick bonus practice on Saturday. Since Lincoln's never done track before, it was a bit challenging for him, but he said he enjoyed it. He tried out long jump and shot put. I'm very excited to see how this summer league goes! After practice we had to go up to Fort Collins so I could do some work that I had to do in the office. On the way home we stopped at Scheels because we had to do some shopping. One fun item we bought there was a disc golf target and a few discs. Lincoln played disc golf in PE this year and he said he really loved it and since then, he has wanted us to get him a setup. We put it together and Lincoln played it for awhile this weekend.
This morning I cleaned the kitchen and then we had another golf meeting to discuss a few remaining things after the previous meeting. During the meeting my dad and grandpa also tried out the disc golf. They all had fun playing with disc golf together. Then today we went to the grocery store. Then to round out the weekend, Lincoln and I cleaned our leopard gecko's cage.
Hard to believe it's June already!
