I don't know what it is about Mondays, but I clearly can't remember to post on the blog. So here is the update a day late.
Today was a massively busy day today. We started out the morning early with some golf lessons for Lincoln. Then we had a follow up with Brian's orthopedic surgeon. The surgeon was very impressed with Brian's range of motion considering how significant his tear was in addition to his brain injury and also the frozen shoulder. This is great news because the surgeon doesn't need see any reason orthopedically that Brian's right shoulder won't return to 100% eventually. He still has a long way to go and thinks that 100% won't happen for awhile (probably around a year from the surgery) but that is still such great news that he isn't concerned.
Following that appointment, Brian had OT. In that appointment he did various activities: stretched, did some strengthening activities, played catch, walked the hall while tossing a ball, did a cognitive number and letter finding game, and played a matching card game.
Then we ended the night with book club. Brian is still making his way through his book and he is very excited to finish it so we can watch the movie.
