Today we were so busy! We started out the day with Brian's vision appointment. We have been waiting for this appointment for months! We saw the eye doctor that works with the patients who are inpatient but she didn't see Brian since his vision wasn't bothering him about it much in the hospital. So she tested his vision and discussed the changes Brian's been seeing since his discharge. She said she didn't expect his vision difficulties were caused by his brain injury which is great news! He will need glasses in order to correct his vision, but this time should be more successful since she also understood the reason for Brian's double vision when he wears the glasses he had been prescribed previously. Brian's really looking forward to using his glasses and seeing some improvement!
We then had OT which Brian worked on his shoulders and agility again. He did some range of motion work and strengthening which will improve his shoulder and also did some work with the agility ladder again today.
Then tonight we went to The Greeley Stampede to go to the rodeo. It was the finals tonight so we got to see the best tonight and we had a lot of fun! Lincoln had a turkey leg which he looks forward to every year. The only negative of today was we didn't get home until 11:15. This is the latest Brian's stayed awake since before his accident and he was absolutely exhausted by the time we got home. I have a feeling he's gonna sleep in pretty late tomorrow.
