I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had such a nice weekend.
Saturday we took the pup to her adoption event. When we got home Brian worked on staining the outside of the fence and got it all done before we had to go back to the shelter.
Then, SUPER EXCITING update. Right when we left the house to pick up the pup from the shelter, they texted saying someone was looking at her and might want to adopt her. We still headed over to the shelter just in case they didn't adopt. When we got there they were still looking at Jamie so we sat and chatted with them a little bit and they ended up taking her home! She found her forever home!!! It was really nice for us to be able to say goodbye to her too. She really grew into a great puppy and will make an amazing dog for her new family.
Today we just lounged around the house since we didn't have to go anywhere. We watched some TV (we restarted the shows The Umbrella Academy and Ted Lasso today, both are great and are very different but great shows if you are looking for one), ate some pizza from the local pizza place, and relaxed. Lincoln spent some time playing basketball outside with the neighbor.
We have a very busy day tomorrow that we are looking forward to. We are starting the day tomorrow bright and early with some golf lessons for Lincoln, which also reminds me, we are less than a month away!
