We had a great week this week! We decided to get some new foster puppies and we picked them up on Monday! We ended up with two black lab mixes and we named them Jet and Ash.
This week Brian also had a few appointments this week for OT where he is still working on strengthening his shoulders, dual tasking, and some executive functioning tasks. Brian also had an appointment with his neuropsychologists to check in and make sure everything is going the way it should still. The psychologist said a lot of what Brian was saying was really good signs for healing since he is becoming more aware of the differences in pre-accident Brian and post-accident.
Friday we went to our usual fun Friday breakfast at Gabe's.
Saturday afternoon we were able to get to tickets to Nate Bargatze's show at Ball Arena from Brian's mom (Thank you Donna for those)! We attended with Brian's brother and sister in law. The show was great and Brian really had the best time!
Today (Sunday) we stayed at home most of the day and watched football and then we are currently watching the Emmys because we didn't get enough of Nate yesterday! I am personally absolutely thrilled that Owen Cooper won for Adolescence! If you haven't watched that, it is phenomenal. It's all shot in ONE TAKE which is so unbelievable. We did leave for a short time today to return to the shelter to pick up pups again, but they asked if we could take home a different group so we got a new set! This is Annie and Oakley! These two are so fun because Annie looks a lot like Netta and they are the same age and size Netta was when we first got her.
